Having worked free-lance all my life  beforehand, when I first came to work at Blinken OSA 10 years ago I was wondering how I would be able to cope with a “proper” workplace. I found out very soon that I did not need to worry. OSA was welcoming and accommodating, colleagues generously spent time training me and helping me when I was stuck with a problem. Since the first moments, I have immensely enjoyed learning more and in greater depth about the various aspects of the archivist’s profession.

Over the years, OSA has maintained its appeal and remained intellectually stimulating with its huge variety of activities: there are probably few other workplaces where so many things go on at the same time, requiring a broad range of skills from all of us. I always feel encouraged to learn and to broaden my knowledge, and that working hard for OSA is rewarding.

OSA’s having become a dog-friendly workplace is just one more proof of how open this institution is!
